Use Ice Cubes
Just wrap 1-2 ice cubes in a cloth and place it on the bruised area of the skin. This will not only reduce the swelling that often accompany a bruise, but also helps with pain relief to a certain extent. It is best to apply the ice cubes for 10-15 minutes with a caution to not over chilling the bruised area at all. You can also use an ice bag filled with crushed ice or ice cubes.
Use Warm Water
Dip a piece of clean cloth in warm water, squeeze it and gently massage the bruise with the same. You can also use a hot water bag for the same.
Use Fresh Parsley Leaves
Collect some fresh parsley leaves, a common garden herb and crush it. Apply the paste on the bruise. It will cause the disappearance of the skin discoloration within a few days. You can also use large outer cabbage leaves, dip them in hot water to apply to bruised areas. This will definitely accelerate the healing process.
Use Turmeric Power
Turmeric is known for ages as a natural healer. You need to just mix a teaspoon of turmeric powder in a glass of milk and to drink the same every morning on an empty stomach for the best of the results.
