So here are some of the home remedies to wither off the dead skin layer and make you feel gorgeous in and out through the following simple 5-10 min. cures:
Lemon juice,high in citrus,cuts the dead skin cells and dirt from your skin,to give you a lighter tone.It has natural bleaching capabilities.So squeeze a lemon in a small bowl and apply on the affected area for about 10-15 minutes.If you have a harsh skin,you can further use lemon peels to rub the lemon juice more effectively.Do this everyday for a month for visible results.But remember not to leave in sun after directly applying lemon juice or else it will further tan the area.Wear full sleeved shirt and apply a moisturiser containing atleast SPF30 if you can’t postpone going out.
Lemon juice may seem to dry out too much and irritate the sensitive skin.If you think lemon is too harsh for your skin,you can use cucumber juice as an alternate.Just grate a cucumber and press it hard to unleash the juice in it.Cucumber is highly nourishing to the skin but it may take sometime to reveal the results.
Tomato juice can lighten your skin and provide the required minerals and nourishment to the area.At the same time,tomato seeds are great for exfoliation.Cut the tomato into half and cup and rub the inner juicy part to the elbows and the knees for atleast 15 minutes.This remedy is highly useful and works for almost everyone due to its high contents.
Milk and Baking Powder
Baking power is another natural bleaching agent that works wonders to lighten your skin.However it can really dry out your skin.So mix it with milk to form a paste and apply it easily to the affected area.Milk not only provides nourishment,it is a great way to get rid of dead skin cells and to make the area soft and smooth.
Cut the potatoes really sleekly in circles(just like the shape of chips) and rub against the affected area.Another way is to grate it and extract its juice to apply it in liquid form.Though rubbing the potatoes is found more effective in this area as it helps to exfoliate with juice application.
Course Flour Mixed With Raw Milk
You may take rice flour if course wheat flour is not available.Take two tablespoons of flour,one teaspoon milk,one teaspoon coconut oil and olive oil each to form a thick paste.Rub it gently on the affected area and then mix some turmeric to the batter and apply on the area and leave on for 10 minutes.It works great.
Gram Flour And Curd
take some coconut milk and freeze it in an ice tray.Take a tablespoon of gram flour,a teaspoon of organic rose water and a tablespoon of curd or yogurt.Rub the affected area and leave on till it dries out.Clean the area and rub it using the frozen milk cubes you made earlier.It lightens,brightens,softens and moisturises the skin.
Vitamin E And Coconut Milk
Take 2 vitamin E capsules.Cut it into half.Take all the powder filled in there out in a bowl and mix it with some coconut milk to make a thick paste.You may also add some cucumber juice to it for better results.Apply on your elbows and knees to get a lighter tone.
Squeeze an orange and apply the juice on the affected area.If you feel you have a really dry skin and orange may cause great itching,you can add a few drops of organic rose water and olive oil to it before applying to dilute the substance.
If none of these work out for you or you want much more immediate results,use a bleaching moisturizer on a regular basis or bleach your elbows and knees after leaving at least two days gap in between.
